Closer than expected thus far, especially since Notre Dame hit 6 of 7 shots to start the game and three straight three-pointers. But the Irish went into a funk midway through the first half, even allowing Eastern Michigan to take a 21-20 lead off a 10-1 run capped by a Carlos Medlock layup.
The lead change awoke Notre Dame, who quickly went on a 7-0 run (Luke Harangody baskets bracketed a Ryan Ayers three-pointer) to reclaim control.
As it stands now, Notre Dame leads, 43-32.
