KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- We are having some internet problems up here at Wings Stadium. Bear with us if you want to do the chat; I will be back when I can.
Komets lead 2-1 in the first period, thanks to goals from Evgeny Saidachev and P.C. Drouin.
Colin Chaulk isn't playing because of the flu.
Be back when I don't have to borrow Pam Shebest's computer. Thanks Kalamazoo Gazette!
End of the world. That is all. Day after tomorrow. Komets have lost it.

I watched also Mark. I agree completly. Reyneart was not tested by those three shots.

lol JS..I'm not mad that they lost in a shootout, sure im disappointed, but I thought they could of put more of an effort into the shootout attempts...

I will admit, I was cheap tonight and didn't get the b2 feed so I'm not sure what they did. I heard Chaser, and he didn't seem to excited about a move made. Let me take a backseat and actually let the people that watched the game express their opinions!!! It's where I should have been anyways!! :) Mark, your opinion is still wrong!! :) JP

Hey guys we've had a great run over the last few weeks, no harm done tonight. We'll get everyone healthy in time for post season, and take a run at the cup...it's still half full you know.

Sorry, I didn't mean that to be sarcastic. It's hard to say things via internet the way it's meant at all. It just didn't sound right typing it.

Bring on the K'zoo bloggers it'll be a pretty feeble effort, especially since we still own them.

If it takes a shootout to put the K's streak of 10 to rest so be it. Its bound to happen at some point. With a loud, promotional, sellout crowd on hand and the Komets traveling a little light in firepower, it seems appropriate. I am proud they did not roll over and die.
Kalamazoo has talent Toe. If they click, they can be a tough opponent for anyone and they are good enough to capitalize on mistakes, which they did.

I 100% agree with Scoops. Karlander, Bootland, and Willis know how to win games. KZOO is my pick to make the playoffs and end up possibly in a first round battle with the Komets. I wouldn't mind that one bit. I'm sure we could get a few Komets fans up that way!!!! The steak was going to end sooner or later in the win column. Still have the home streak and the HUBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

COme on guys FLint and Kzoo are teams that are plaque by injuries ecsecially on defense. They both had forwards that they had to convert to D-men...Dumba for Flint and a guy we cut who had 2 goals tonight on the PP>..THey by no means have the talent the K's have right now and really on Flint when totally healthy can compare talent wise. Just look at the IHL transaction page for those two clubs. WE should not be playing catch up hockey with those teams and tonight we have a 2-1 lead that eventually became a 4-2 lead for Kzoo. THen we turned it up and scored 2 quick goals. Winning the regular season title is a nice accomplishment and we have done that what 3 out the last 4 years? Home many cups have we won during that span>? We can not play inconsistant hockey in the play-off's, the streak is nice but so what it will mean a lot more if the when the cup and be a big disappointment if they don't

Sorry about the above post to much green beer today

Toe, you don't understand. This team has done everything they can. They are going to sit the older guys. Were the legs are a factor. The Rookies, they dont undestand a playoff race at all. You can want us to win every game from thi stretch right now, but it's not ganna happen. Huber is great, but their are bigger goals and we all know it!!! Welcome to the blog by the way Toe! Good to have you aboard!!!

With the pitching and hitting Boston had last year they should of never lost a game all season. The Wings should never lose. The Patriots should of never lost. Teams lose, it happens.
If you want to voice your concern over this loss a little by all means do so. But take a look at the big picture for a moment. They have played in 3 straight shootout games in four days. They are missing a few bodies. They have been playing some pretty good hockey for 2 months straight, maybe longer. Two losses in regulation since the end of JANUARY. Not to mention, its difficult to win on the road and the Komets have been holding up their end of the bargain at home for a long time now.
They will be fine.

The Vomits will have their hands full tonight against Flint, if it's a repeat performance from green ice night. Don't forget about Henley's sub par night and boy-o-boy did he ever choke! Next best thing to a KWiNG Victory is a Vomit defeat!
