What happened to fisher?

flint is getting spooky.

Justin Cohn

The story said something like he didn't fit their system. Hmm, a 33 assist guy or something like that?

Nelson is on the same par as Chaulk. Both play similar games and have similar talent. Thats bad for us if he has an easy transition into the team.
I wonder if Alban is going to have any problems getting back after the injury. Goalie is not a good position to play if your not 100% back into your game. It may be too late in the season for him to get into his groove.

Flint should have kept Ruggerio incase Alban gets hurt again or heck, even Marvin.

Did anyone hear dyer, IN is getting a single A hockey team next year. I believe that town is about 2.5 hours from majority of the IHL cities.

i saw that too jkmess... heres the link..it has their team logo and some info on it...

Brendan Savage

It sure hasn't been boring in Flint lately.

Speaking of flint. What hotel is everyone using to stay at for the 4-11, 4-12 flint games. I have only been to Flint once, to look at kettering unniversity and the unniversity put me up in a hotel, so I have no idea what is decent and close to stay at,

Thanks in advance

I heard that Fisher is getting new hair plugs

Flint losing Fisher? guess I can't make anymore "skullet" comments to my kids when he's on the ice.

Justin Cohn

Welcome Savage!

I just noticed we play our last 3 games in 3 nights all against Flint. That is perhaps one of the stupidest scheduling acts I have ever seen in professional sports. Seriously, 3 games, 3 nights, same team. Wow.

Jerad Shaw

Homco, I would suggest driving about 20 or 30 minutes after the game to a hotel. Flint isn't the nicest city in the world to stay at. No offense Mr. Savage!

janice figure out a saying for the banner yet?

Have you thought anymore about going to Flint on 4-12? Just throwing this idea out there but what if we rent a van so we can all ride together? If we have 6 or more people going and split the cost of the van and fuel it shouldn’t be horrific. Just let me know, you have my number.

I just found out from a reliable source we are moving up to the A next year. I guess chicago is not happy with the rockford team.

April fools!!!!

I thought trade deadline and final season rosters had to be turned in awhile ago....how is this possible???

I like how Ramsey said he will step in and be the best in the league......thats what they said about McCarty

Oh happy birthday to me...i know no one on here will believe me since conley reminded everyone its april fools day

Any baby yet Icy?

Nope my luck it will come during playoffs

I'll be right behind you bro!

Ok so I take back my previous comment on the last blog post...Bring on the Wings for round 1!! ;o)

Nope no decision on the sign yet Andy, still taking suggestions...

Brendan Savage

Lots of hotels on Miller Road in Flint Township. It's about 10 minutes from the arena, near the biggest mall in this part of the state, lots of restaurants. Pretty safe. Just get off Miller Road at I-75 where it intersects with I-69. There are about four hotels right there at the expressway exit and I'm sure you wouldn't have to reserve in advance.

Cohny...got your ears on? You playing anywhere today? MAC is closed this week for S&P guys, spring break and shutting down the red rink. Open next week only on Tues. though.

Here's one for you, Janice: You can skate but you can't hide.

And welcome, Mr. Savage.

Thanks for the hotel info Mr. Savage

kyle hunt

I like several and or all the banner ideas, more the better, several would be cool! Is that really Savage?

Brendan welcome to our humble abode...what do we owe the pleasure of your visit? What have you heard in relation to expansion teams coming to our league? Be nice to hear something from outside FW on that subject.

Justin Cohn

He was invited and accepted the invitation. ... Hey, St. Chris, maybe barrell hockey on Friday. I think it's going on.

I'm on vacation and went to a Tampa Bay game last night! All I can say is IHL hockey is more bang for the buck. $245 for 5 tickets in the nose blead section,Andre Roy did not play and only a hand full of hits all night. Can't wait to get home to see the K's!!

Thanks Savage. I look forward to the unexpected in a three game same competitor weekend!

Can't say that I completly agree with you topshelf. My wife and I went to the Phoenix-Montreal game in Phoenix and had a great time. Plenty of hitting and a real snarl at the end of the game. I guess it's just which game you were at. Of course i do know that nither Atlanta nor Tampa bay were playing for a playoff spot so really nothing to play for and that makes a lot of difference.

Yeah, if either team were fighting for a spot it might have been beter. Neat building!! I was in Detroit this season also and it was the same way. Last year we went to a Blackhawks game and I was on the edge of my seat the whole game. I guess it depends on the teams playing.

"LETS GOON IT UP" for a banner.

Sorry Cohny can't make barrell hockey that night, we'll be in Bloomington. You have any interest in league play next year?

Justin Cohn

Yes, I have interest, but it would depend on dates, times, since I cover the K's and Colts and have a kid. Those always seem to conflict with the times rational people do stuff.
