hahahaha i dont think he is...just obsessed with the fighting aspect of the game.
mightbite try UFC, you may like it much more than hockey. i would steer clear of boxing though, that sport is dead and you will only get to see decisions nowadays
yes, UFC is the best, and he's good at that BEFORE it was called the UFC;
yes, he's a hockey fan and will put his professional experience against yours;
and I think we have a kick @!@ hockey team and I challenge the fans to step up and be as kick !@!
Nice story but got a question. I noticed the pic of Durdin pushing the guy out front and saw Boucher's stick (or at least that looks like his #). His stick says www.mylooneypets.com ? You know anything about that JC? I know that Quad City awhile back had some plumming company sponsor their sticks. Kinda odd...
Yes, Helney will be playing tonight. (Don't forget to count the make-up game in the five games) I was hoping he would be out and his jersey would be cheaper, but no dice! Oh Well, I'll have to settle to watch him play tonight... Looks like I'm going after Pence's jersey tonight!!! (Cheapest of all of them I'm guessing)
Okay, someone who is listening to the game, please recap on the discussion of Bob Chase and the expansion of the league. I missed most of it, but I heard most likely expansion in Chicago and Indy. AHL going to Toledo and that is it. Please fill me in!
Tonights game started out great. Alot of speed and action but I think it got a little sloppy. Nice to see the Komets win with a little less than their A game. Keep it going! Thanks to the refs for disposing of Durdin for us tonight.
Nice Home Win, but we played very sloppy or Port Huron is a lot better club. Margettie took care of Hansen tonight. Woods could have taken care of Margettie on the opening face off but opt out.
The game vs. Bloomington last weekend was much chippier than this one. So I disagree that this was the most chippy game as of late.
This game was not that sloppy, I didn't think though my judgement may not be as reliable with all the people getting up and down all night long.
Good pace, PH didn't quit like the last time they were in town, and another great game by the Komets despite the hideous uniforms...but all for a good cause. But a good cause should not always mean that the hockey team has to wear uglies. The horrific practice jersies are enough already.
Aquino, Drouin, Boucher, Chaulk, and Curadeau are just a heck of a lot of fun to watch.
What impressed me the most was the Komets WERE STILL working up until the very end despite a three goal lead. Unless a rash of injuries happen, there is another banner ready to be hung. This Komet team right now looks great.
Where do you sit TGP? I had a couple sitting beside me last night that I was ready to chain to their seats! Obviously they have no hockey etiquette at all. All I can say is I hope they never sit there again. I may as well have stood up all night as many times as they got up and down. Why don't people like that get seats on the end????
Sometimes the people on the ends don't get it either. I had a woman sitting by me last night who wouldn't move for anything. I had to get out of my seat twice (both during intermissions even) and she wouldn't even so much as move her feet back! Just sat there and glared. I'm small, I don't need a lot of room to get by you, just move your feet! I might have accidently applied my shoe to her instep one time as I was trying to crawl over her. ;)
i sit on the end, what kind of crappy reference was that? idiots and non hockey knowledgeable people can sit anywhere. i sit on the end cause i dont have any obstructed view and i get to see the plays develop.
if you meant why dont people like that get seats on the aisle then that is understandable. but i pay the same money for the end as you priviledged people at center ice do.we had a guy last night who sat in the middle of the section and got up eight times during the game.
Steve Larmer, Tim Kerr, Espo...that's where they earned their keep, bub.

Steve Larmer was probably the only acceptable Blackhawk of all time. I mean while he still played for them.
Posted by: Justin Cohn | March 07, 2008 at 11:03 AM
I will be in the 8th row tonight for the Bhawks game!!! I get to watch the 8th seed team in the playoffs. The team that will end the Red Wings Season!

That stick is Reiter's. After the game the other day I asked about it and he said it was his sister's company.

Yeah i didn't know who it was...the first number was a 3 and the second was blocked. Nice free adversting for her though. Thanks Bill

Is that Mrs. Mightbite?
Posted by: Brando | March 08, 2008 at 02:00 PM
There should be 2 good fights tonight.
Leguat and Snowball
Woods and Margettie
Posted by: Junior | March 08, 2008 at 02:00 PM
And don't forget HENLEY returns tonight!!!
Posted by: mightbite | March 08, 2008 at 02:07 PM
He's not coming back until the K-zoo game on the 14th??
Posted by: Junior | March 08, 2008 at 02:22 PM
I thought its been 5 games? A nasty knee by Matt Cooke 5 min.
Posted by: mightbite | March 08, 2008 at 02:40 PM
I think it's been 5 games too, Cohn can you verify?
Posted by: Ryne Gurney | March 08, 2008 at 03:34 PM
Also, is Margettie playing, last I heard he had been out since Woods Rearranged is face.

Magrettie played Sunday against Muskegon so I would assume he's going to play. He fought in that game too, which would lead me to believe he's 100%
Posted by: Andrew | March 08, 2008 at 04:31 PM
Just an FYI for everyone, I have seen people saying on other boards that over 9000 tickets had been sold as of this morning.
Posted by: K.M. | March 08, 2008 at 04:58 PM
Well, hope Henley's rested and ready to play!!

When are we clinching a playoff spot? 30 point margin between 1st and 4th, it should be any game now right???
Posted by: Henley67250 | March 08, 2008 at 10:44 PM
after looking at the box scores for every ihl game it seems like one of the chippiest all around nights in a while
