The Komets and FortWayne.com are asking for fans to bring donations to four games, Nov. 30, Dec. 1, Dec. 15 and Dec. 16, which will be shipped to American troops around the world, as part of Project Komet Kare Package 2.
The items can include things like beef jerky, white socks, soap, powdered drinks, deodorant, body lotion and wash, snacks, plastic utensils and phone cards. For a full list of items, click here.
There are restrictions on pressurized items and products in glass containers. Liquids must be secured and chocolate doesn't ship well. Hand sanitizer is prohibited.
