KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- I don't mean to be presumptuous, but the Komets are dominating the Wings -- they lead it 2-0 after one period -- and the Muskegon Fury are trailing the Quad City Mallards 4-0 in the first period.
It looks like the Komets will get the Tarry Cup. They've been working their tails off here, hitting everything in sight early. David Hukalo had a couple great scoring chances early and finally netted the opening goal on a redirection. Then Bruce Richardson scored off a rebound on a power play.

Watching the B2 and they do look good, It sounds like we are in the Jungle when the K's ascore. So loud. Any chance they can bring the cup home on the bus?

We've been asking about that. It seems unlikely, I'm told, that the Wings will hand over the Cup; it probably has to go through some Brosal-esque red tape. ... There are about 1,200 Fort Wayne fans all the media has agreed.

Cool! The K's and the Red Wings are rocking heading into the playoffs! My two favorite hockey teams are in a good spot to win a championship. What a great story it will be to pass the Fury on the last day of the season. I WILL be making some trips down there to see a few games. I have been in Michigan since 1991 and I still follow the K's as much as possible. By the way, Justin does a great job! I continue to be amazed at how many people recognize the Komet logo on my jacket, which I wear proudly I must say. You folks deserve this cuz' you support your team so well. By the way #2; "The "Jungle" has a better atmosphere than "The Joe" here in Detroit. GO KOMETS!!!!

Nothing has a better atmosphere than the Joe. Not even close. Sacrilege.

Justin and others...about an hour before game time at Wings Stadium...about 1/4 of the building was dressed in orange and black. One of the ticket ladies told one of our fans that they had sold over 2000 fans to people from the Fort Wayne area...not to mention those who bought the tickets from the scalper in section 19...He said he had either 25 or 45 extra tickets...wow! All I have to say is I am gald I did not have to here "woo hoo" tonight after any wings goals. Frenchie 5th shutout! Komets fans were definately louder than the Wings fans and probably had more like 1/3 of the stadium filled at least. Sections 15-22 were packed full of Fort Wayne fans and I saw pockets of them throughout.
