rockford turned up the heat and started hitting and hawthorne got biased and we stunk the place up. i could really blast a few guys for going thru the motions, but it happens. time to gut check and go for game three.

Well if the Komets can lobby to the world of hockey to just throw out a second period, then we'd win nearly every game. As what has been the case most of the season, we come out strong in the first period and the second period we let up. Now, I'm not going to blame the awful officiating here but that missed call on Henley seemed to be the turning point...and from there, it went downhill fast.

HAWTHORNE SHOULD BE BANNED FROM EVER OFFICIATING, he is highly inconsistant! He missed a blatant trip against us on one of the IceHogs on a breakaway that wasn't called, missed others and ones that you thought was a penalty he called against the other side. I just don't get it.

But with that being said, the Komets just flat out sucked tonight... they didn't show up to play, again. This team better get it through their brains that when you win 3-0 one game, it doesn't mean you can cruise the next. They said they learned their lesson....again. And again, they didn't learn a darn thing. Do this one too many times and the seaon's over.

I just wanted to come on here and publically apologize, I sat in sec 116 tonight and those around me will know who I am, but wit around a min left to go with hawthorn missing another call and just skating back like nothing happened I snapped and threw my pop at him, It hit the glass in the Penalty box and probally hit some people on the way there, I had my kids with me and beleive me I felt and still do feel like a jack*ss for doing it. I am not typically that kind of person. I explained to my kids that it was a stupid thing to do and that daddy lost his temper, but that was not an excuse for me doing something that stupid. Once again anyone I may have hit with my pop I am apologize and realize that it was a classless thing to do.

Ok, I'll say it..Larocque sucked...I only saw 2 of frenchys goals..the 2nd and 5 goals were soft..its hard to blame a goalie when he gives up a 5 on 3 goal..and I didn't see the 3rd goal...

tonight we were pathetic

How many times do you need to learn the SAME LESSON? IMHO if I were Bingham I'd let it be known that if this kind of play happens ANY game the rest of this post-season, you will not be invited back next year. With most likely there only being 6-7 teams next year, that will leave one competing for a job even more intense. So do you want to have a chance playing minor league hockey, or working at Menards?

Komets 5-0 when they have an official who officiates the game close to the way it is supposed to be officiated. The lack of obvious calls blew my mind...then again I am used to it when he is here. Second the call on Morency at least where I was sitting was a joke. He appeared to be the one that was blindly knocked down/crossed check behind the net. Next the guy that "landed" on McWhinney also appeared to throw a couple of punches at him while on top of him and of course the Komets were again short handed on that exchange when Bozo pulled the guy off. Then Martinson takes there starter out in fear of retaliation....let me check...why would the Komets want to retaliate if that was a clean play? It obviously wasn't and so he pulled him. The play with Henley where his stick was held...then he started roughing up that guy...then came in Laroque and Brown...excuse me again but only three of those four received penalties for that....I believe there were four involved? I am so confused...please help. And yes the Komets didn't play up to par but again the officiating...when you see Hawthorn you know you are playing short handed the entire game...literally or figuratively.
