HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. -- This looks familiar. The Komets have let down and the Chicago Hounds are taking advantage.
The Hounds are blocking shots and taking advantage of mistakes. That's what happened midway through the second period; a Mario Larocque shot was blocked and Hounds forward Drew Otten took the puck down the ice and scored a short-handed goal.
So, it's tied at 1 after two periods of play. I hate to sound cliche, but the Hounds are paying the price and the Komets are making me yawn.
By the way, I'm guessing there are about 750 people here, with about 100 of them being Fort Wayne fans.

Hopefully the K's will come through and put the game away. Is Saginaw a larger city then Flint? Would Flint have better attendance if they relocated 30mins up the road?

I think Saginaw has a junior team.

Justin, actually there was 1,500 fans. That seems low for a Sunday playoff game...a little under there season average.

1500 is just the number of tickets sold or given away....not actual attendance.

it said 1500, but it sure didn't look like it. I'd say even 750 is a high guess....what a shame.
