A few comments about the ref...I think the boarding call was a poor call as the P.H. player turned the wrong way and Huck just crushed him. Second...You can't bring a official in that is so different in his officiating...the players go hey that was penalty all season and now it's not? Third I want to know why the P.H. player did not get 2-5-10 for jumping Huck? Come on league do we change the rules every game to fit the crime! So are we going to let the players play or are we going to babysit them.I liked the way the K's intensity kept building as the game went along, Fridays game will be a good one. Last, the weather we have been having reminds me of when I was a kid, not that anyone cares.Go K's

Forgot to tell you all I know the Ref and his Dad...So I guess I can bitch the loudest.

I got to agree I wasn't much impressed with the officiating. I thought he missed some obvious calls as well as the Hukalo fight.

Justin-I thought Hukalo and Morency played well as well, of course they have been doing it all year. I really like watching that line play. To think that the checking/energy line can actually get you scoring chances and score has to be a big plus for the team. Rudenko was a bull out there. he's sneaky strong on the puck. If he can just eliminate those stupid offensive penalties.

Fish was a ref during preseason...

I really enjoyed the game last night. Good defensive struggle and some old time hockey elements.

I thought the ref did a great job letting the players play. The boarding call was questionable but it was one of the better officiating efforts I have seen all year.

Yeah, he could have called an instigator for the fight Huck had but he, Huck, did drop his gloves and start swinging. I am glad he didn't call it. I like the idea of letting the players settle some things like they used to as opposed to the constant barrage penalties.

P.S. Port Huron is a lot better than I thought they would be. this is a good team despite the record.

They play with an edge which is enjoyable to watch.
