KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Not much to report after a ho-hum period. Both teams got power-play goals and the Kalamazoo Wings lead the Komets 2-1.
Lucas Drake has both Wings goals, while Matt Syroczynski has the Komets' tally. Interestingly, he was a healthy scratch on Friday.
Coach Pat Bingham has had good luck with getting players to respond to when they're scratched. Maybe that means Pascal Morency will break out in the next game.

Motivation is one thing, but head games are another....

Whether due to injury or otherwise, Pascal has not played to expectations.

Bootland was offsides by 2 stride on that last goal

What would those expectations be Tony? His role IMO is to be an aggressive forward, take the body, and fight when necessary. He is the only one in the K's uniform that can do that. IMO we lack a true physical presences on the ice. He gives us that somewhat.

another road loss...makes me wonder how good this team is..10-2 on home ice..5-6 on the road..to me..thats gonna be the Komets downfall..lets hope they get that turned around..

What about Richardson and Mario?

I do think he is still hurting which limits his ability to be physical.

Richardson and Mario are both frontline players who really shouldn't be counted on to be the physical presence all the time. They need to be on the ice. They are 2 of the most skilled players.

If you look at Pascal career he hasnt been the greatest of goal scorers. Put what he does bring to the Komets is 110% heart everytime he hits the ice. And we need that play
