I don't understand how this can be passed when so many people are against it. As a HUGE sports fan it blows my mind that my money will be going towards a new stadium for an old product that doesn't sell now! I love the Wizards but they have one of the nicest single A ballparks in the nation and it is hardly ever full! I will go to less games downtown!
And a hotel! Yipee! Who will stay there? The people that travel here to see a Single A ballgame??? Not a chance!
It just bothers me that 9 out of 10 people I talk to think this is a horrible idea yet it still gets pushed thru!
I was born and raised in Fort Wayne and I never thought I'd leave but things like this make me want to pack up and go to a place where the politicians actually listen to the people....if such a place exists?!?!?
