So the Jermaine O'Neal era is apparently over in Indianapolis.
I guess this is another step in Larry Bird's announced house-cleaning, something that's long overdue. O'Neal's a six-time All-Star and has been the Pacers' only inside game for awhile now, but considering the way the franchise has slid downhill the past few seasons, he's not as much of a loss as it appears he is on the surface. I mean, they can miss the playoffs without him just as easily as they missed them with him.
