Didn't have time to add a postscript to my Komets post last night, so here it is:
The fight I alluded to earlier?
Wasn't much of one Sunday.
The Komets outshot Muskegon 41-8 across the first two periods, 54-22 for the game, and rolled 7-3 in Game 3. They also scored three power-play goals after starting this series 1-for-15. They also chased Muskegon goalie Isaac Riechmuth, who'd given them fits in the first two games, by putting five goals behind him in two periods.
Every series sways to its own beat, so who knows what happens in Muskegon on Wednesday. But offhand I'd say the Fury is in trouble -- especially since the only offense it's managed to muster so far has been on 5-on-3 power plays.
