A Double-Double For Kurz in Portsmouth

Just wanted to throw a quick update up on former Notre Dame basketball player Rob Kurz, who is part of the K&D Round's Landscaping team at the Portsmouth (Va.) Invitational Draft camp.
Kurz got the start for his team in their first game, a 90-78 win over Norfolk Sports Club.
Decent game for Kurz. He scored 11 points and had a game-high 12 rebounds -- 7 offensive -- in 28 minutes. But the Lower Gwynedd, Pa., native was 3 of 9 shooting and had four turnovers.
The guy who might have had the best game, though, is former Butler point guard Mike Green, who scored 13 points, had 10 assists and eight rebounds.
Kurz's team moves on to the Portsmouth semifinals against Portsmouth Sports Club on Friday at 9 p.m. Portsmouth Sports Club is led by VMI forward Reggie Williams, who had 22 points in the opener, and Utah State's Jaycee Carroll, who scored 16 points.
