Former Notre Dame safety Tom Zbikowski tied for second among safeties in bench press reps (24) along with Army's Caleb Campbell at the NFL Combine.
No one should be surprised that an Army guy would be up there considering the rigid training regimen all military schools have.
Rotoworld.com is reporting Zibby ran 4.52 and 4.56 on his two 40-yard dash attempts. The fastest safety (and only safety) listed on NFL.com is Arizona State's Josh Barrett, who ran a 4.35 40.
We're hoping to find more results later today.

That is awesome to hear that he did well in the forty. Take away the comments of being too slow.

Hilarious bit they showed later from Zibby's bench press: The bench coach, trying to fire him up, said "Come on, Rudy!" Without breaking form, Zibby snapped "Don't call me that again," and kept going.
Announcers were very complimentary of Zibby overall.

Hey Michael, this is a bit off topic but Jake Long did something like 37 reps and Zibby beat Harris's # last year and Sully and Carlson's # this year. What do you think of the OL's (and Carlson's) bench press numbers?
