Your BCS Title Game Post
A quick break from all things Notre Dame to bring you our fast thoughts on the national championship game. To read us and other writers around the country, check out The Wizard of Odds' compilation of predictions.
As for Insights, we see it LSU 28, Ohio State 14.
Why?
Well, as we wrote to The Wiz, would you expect anything less to end this college football season? A two-loss national champion would be quite fitting -- and it'll stir up debate and a potential split national title. As for Monday's game, look for a big game from LSU wide receiver Early Doucet and a dominant performance from a now-healthy Tigers' defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey. Dorsey solidifies his No. 1 NFL Draft pick status and holds OSU running back -- and potential future Top 5 NFL pick -- Chris "Beanie" Wells to under 70 yards.
As for after the game, look for a very tight Associated Press poll vote. LSU will be No. 1, but not by much as USC and Georgia will both take votes away from the Tigers. Also, we wouldn't be surprised if at least one person voted for Kansas.
