Notre Dame Opening In Big East...And a much older leprechaun
Welcome to Big East play. Glad to see you've finally made it (and no more North Florida's for you).
Couple quick things to note:
- During the break between semesters, Notre Dame has apparently gotten a taller, much older leprechaun. He's gotta be at least 5-foot-10 and at least 30 years old. Plus, he's not really adept at working the T-shirt gun, as he's shot a couple of shirts low and just over the media's heads.
- Twin sighting: West Virginia guard Joe Mazzulla and Marquette guard Dominic James. Mazzulla is taller, but look at the faces. Seriously.
- Notre Dame making a run. Capped by a Zach Hillesland two-handed dunk, the Irish had an 11-2 spurt that gave them a 25-18 lead with 7:39 remaining. With 5:37 left, the Irish lead 29-22.
- Mike Brey joining New Zealand rugby team "All Blacks" with his black suit, black mock turtleneck combination.
