Notre Dame junior forward Zach Hillesland, who sat out Monday's win over North Florida, practiced Tuesday and should be able to play in the Big East opener against West Virginia, Irish coach Mike Brey said Wednesday.
"I count my blessings when you look around our league, when you say what have you accomplished in 12 games, we've stayed healthy and are in the midst of a four-game week," Brey said. "We still have two real physical challenges."
Notre Dame plays West Virginia on Thursday and then Connecticut on Saturday.
