Goodman at All-American game

The Journal Gazette's Greg Jones caught up with future Notre Dame wide receiver John Goodman as he prepared for Saturday's US Army All-American Game in San Antonio.
In the story, Goodman said he's spoken with Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis about potentially lining up at quarterback in some shotgun situations as Goodman had played there this year for Bishop Dwenger.
He also had this to say, which was probably the most interesting quote in the whole story.
"I knew I was going to stay with my commitment because there are so many other guys in this (recruiting) class that if we don't win a national championship in the next couple years, I don't know."
Kid sure is confident.
