Some Heisman Fun
With no viable Notre Dame candidate this year (sorry, Jimmy Clausen and Trevor Laws aren't getting any votes), the Heisman Trophy hasn't been paid much attention here at Insights -- as far as being written about.
But we are a Heisman voter and The Journal Gazette decided Insights colleague LaMond Pope and I should declare our Heisman votes.
We both voted for Florida quarterback Tim Tebow. Read my take here -- and LaMond's here.
According to the fantastic Web Site StiffArmTrophy.com, it appears former Heisman winner and Notre Dame wide receiver Tim Brown disagreed with both of us.

I have to go with McFadden, here is my reasoning. If you put Mcfadden on Florida's team, he would even be better than he is at Arkansas, if you put Teabow at Arkansas, I just don't think he would put up the numbers like he did at Florida. So, that says to me, Mcfadden would be up for the Heisman anywhere he plays, don't think I can say the same for Teabow. I think Teabow is amazing, he's just not Mcfadden. How do you think Brady Quinn differs from Teabow, how do you think Quinn would have done at Florida? Mcfadden had more votes the our Brady.
Go Irish!!!!

Colt Brennan - 131 touchdown passes, 23 NCAA records, only undefeated team in America. Who else can say that? How can Colt Brennan not win the Heisman? If you are skeptical, I challenge you to watch last week's Hawaii Vs Washington. Colt is incredible. You might become a believer.
