Notre Dame-Kansas State pick

Notre Dame will have trouble with Michael Beasley. The freshman is one of the most electrifying players in the country and the Irish have no players who can guard him individually.
While Notre Dame will use a by-committee approach on Beasley, it still might not be enough, especially if Bill Walker also plays well. The Irish will also struggle on the offensive glass as Kansas State will get at least 20 offensive rebounds (the Wildcats average 17.1).

The Irish keep it close from a big night from Homecoming King Kyle McAlarney -- think a career-high 26 points -- but Beasley is just too much.

Our pick: Kansas State 79, Notre Dame 72
