Men's Hoops: ND-NIU at the Half

Notre Dame established season highs in points in a half (57) and shooting percentage in a half (72.7 percent) against Northern Illinois. Currently, it is on pace to be the best shooting night in Notre Dame history, besting the 72.4 percent against Butler on Jan. 30, 1967.

Oh yeah, Notre Dame also hit its first five shots from the floor and with 11:05 to go in the first half had as many three-pointers made as two-point shots taken.

Plus, all three freshmen -- Ty Proffitt, Tyrone Nash and Tim Abromaitis -- saw time in the first half.

Injury update: Per Notre Dame Sports Information, sophomore point guard Tory Jackson has a bruised elbow but is warming up for the second half.
