Don Hogan, Notre Dame's leading rusher in 1962, has died according to an e-mail from the Irish's sports information department.
Hogan gained 454 yards on 90 carries and scored three touchdowns that year, when Notre Dame went 5-5 under Joe Kuharich.
Hogan died of colon cancer. Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.

I am Don Hogan's daughter. I want to share this information with you regarding funeral arrangements, in case you did not know yet.
The wake will be on Sunday, December 9th from 2-9 p.m. at John Sheehy & Sons funeral home on 127th Street in Palos heights, IL. Funeral mass will be at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Palos Heights, IL.
