At least you're seeing a close game for the first time this season.
In a game probably angering NBC executives for its speed -- less than 3 hours through three quarters -- neither team can stop the other one from running the football.
A couple things to note:
- Defensive tackle Pat Kuntz left the game with an injury and we haven't seen him return since.
- Navy threw three passes through the first three quarters (four including the first play of the fourth quarter, a pass interference call on Darrin Walls).
- This game might end up being a question of which special teams gaffe hurt the most -- Notre Dame's fake field goal call or Navy's missed extra point.
