So here's what we know. Demetrius Jones isn't in Michigan. The South Bend Tribune spoke with him and he declined comment. The paper also spoke with his mother, who said she hadn't spoken with him and was surprised by the move. His high school coach, Lexie Spurlock, told us that he didn't know "anything about anything."
