Indiana State Trooper is back again this year -- not surprisingly, of course.
Today's drinking and driving pun: "Any animal behavior is a pet peeve."
With the way Notre Dame has played Saturday, even the pun was poorly received. If this is any indication of the rest of the season, this could be a very long one in South Bend.

My, oh my! What a disappointing game! Offensive line has osteoporosis. Defensive team has osteoporosis. Big plays done us in. Long season ahead...

Is Choice still running? Last time I cj=hecked he had
1-9-2 f'ing yards. More than the entire ND team (smile)!
Go Jackets!!!

michael,
1. as i predicted, all 3 qbs played.
2. there is no way for anyone to duplicate the speed of a college game to that many 1st college game players.
3. until they got worn out by being on the field too long, nd's d was excellent.
4. charlie and the nd team, including the oline, will solve the rest before penn state and michigan.
5. sure, penn state beat the pants off florida international. however, fiu is not a real college team, unlike the very experienced gtech team.
6. as for michigan, lllloyd carr and the big house, asu sure made nd's task at the big house a lot easier.
7. usc looked terrible against their patsy, idaho, and none of nd's other future opponents played any real teams.
8. your prediction of the nd/gtech score was as inaccurate as mine.
9. charlie gambled and lost with double d, but his approach did give nd its best shot at beating gtech.
10. double d will recover and es and jc are ready to go.
11. i hate to see anyone tank over 1 game.
good luck,
bob gilleran
