So, we were wrong about Michigan. We'll admit that now and will take our lumps on the Wolverines being the No. 2 team in the country. Oops. We also take liberties we wouldn't have if we were an AP poll voter. Appalachian State -- in the gorgeous hamlet of Boone, N.C. (we've been there multiple times. The view of some mountains is unbelievable) -- is in our poll at least for this week.

Just like an AP voter, put the a team who lost to another team ahead of that team. In this case, Michigan ahead of Appalachian...nice job Mike!

How does UM stay in the top 25 after what was perhaps the biggest upset in the history of college football? They lost to a 1-AA team and they are still top 25? Tennessee drops out for losing to #7 Cal, but UM remains ranked. Something doesn't quite add up.
I think GT will end up in the top 20, possibly top 15, but you've got them about right for now.
