Russell Carter Game 2 in Portsmouth

Sorry for the delay on this, but we were otherwise occupied Friday night.

Russell Carter had his second game during the Portsmouth Invitational on Friday night and while he didn't start, he led Holiday Inn-Portsmouth in scoring with 17 points.

In 25 minutes, he was 6-of-11 shooting with four rebounds, two assists and perhaps most importantly, zero turnovers. He also had three more steals as his team will play in the Portsmouth title game on Saturday night at 8.

One would think, at least statistically, that Carter could be on the All-Tournament team or the Most Oustanding Player of the Invitational. And that might get him an invite to Orlando and one step closer to the NBA.

Check back here later for Carter's results.
