Posluszny Commits

Notre Dame picked up its sixth oral commitment for the Class of 2008 late Thursday night when David Posluszny chose the Irish over Penn State, West Virginia and Georgia Tech, among others.

If the name looks familiar, it should. The Aliquippa, Pa., native is the younger brother of former Penn State linebacker Paul Posluszny, who won both the Butkus and Bednarik awards.

"Just talking to players and coaches, I got a feeling inside me that it was where I belonged," Posluszny said on Friday.
