Your Daily Bracket (Sort of) -- Thursday
ESPN has been busy lately -- but I guess that's what happens when you have a mass of people working in every single sport's production. The newest Bubble Watch is out and Notre Dame remains a lock, although Big East peers Villanova and Syracuse are in the should be in category, bumping potential Big East tourney teams to seven. By the way, if anyone missed Villanova freshman Scottie Reynolds put up 40 last night on Connecticut, he pretty much cinched up the Big East Rookie of the Year honors right there.
Notre Dame also picked up votes in ESPN's Power 16 -- rating the Top 4 seeds, but didn't get enough votes to bump it into the No. 4 seed line.
The Bracket project has some updates and Notre Dame remains on the dreaded 8/9 line although CBS Sportsline has the Irish as a No. 5 seed.
As for the Jerome, Bucknell came up big with a Patriot League win last night while Army upset Billy Taylor-led Lehigh and key games today include Belmont playing -- up right now on Gardner-Webb in the Atlantic Sun Tournament -- and East Tennessee State opening in the A-Sun this evening. Davidson-Chattanooga in the Southern Conference opener is also currently going on and Bobby Cremins returns to postseason play with College of Charleston in a Southern Conference game later tonight. If you have ESPNU, spurn UNC-Georgia Tech on ESPN to watch Winthrop play at 8:30 p.m. in the Big South Tournament. You'll be glad you did and that you know a little bit about them (Impress your friends!) come tournament time.

I forgot. I'm taking ODU in the Colonial, Sacred Heart to upset C. Connecticut St. and the Governors, Austin Peay, in the Ohio Valley.
I see the Keydets just put themselves in the championship of the Big South.
