Not a bad gig if you can get it

Jed York should be going through a quarter-life crisis now. Instead, he's just helping run the San Francisco 49ers.
Why should you care? Well, he went to Notre Dame and is part of the DeBartolo clan -- the same one that helped orchestrate those winning Niners teams of York's youth. The San Jose Mercury News profiled the precocious executive as run in the Bradenton Herald as York tries to push for a new stadium for San Francisco. In the story, he credits Notre Dame as the place where everything kind of came together in his head.
It also helped his last name shielded him a little bit from the pressures of being in one of Notre Dame's most famous families.
