Notre Dame picked up its third football oral commitment in 54 hours Tuesday when defensive lineman Sean Cwynar from Woodstock, Ill., picked the Irish according to IrishIllustrated.com.
IrishIllustrated.com reported that Cwynar drove to South Bend on Tuesday to tell Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis in person that he would attend the school.
The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder picked Notre Dame over Virginia and a gaggle of Big Ten schools.
He joins Fort Wayne receiver John Goodman and linemen Mike Golic and Braxston Cave in Notre Dame’s Class of 2008.
