Clarifying Carter

As you may remember, Russell Carter and Colin Falls gave small speeches  to the crowd after Notre Dame beat Marquette in the home finale last Saturday.
There was some question as to what, exactly, Carter said -- so we finally got around to asking him Thursday.

"There were some guys dressed as California Raisins," Carter said. "They always dress in crazy outfits, rainbow afros, they wear a whole bunch of things and I appreciate the support.
"I mean, how can you not notice a person with a big green wig or a person that looks like a California Raisin. It's kind of hard not to spot out in a sea of green."

Notre Dame isn't the only school with crazy, wacky costumes. Georgetown had plenty against Pitt -- and a congratulations to the finder of Hoyas hilarity, D.C. Sports Bog author Dan Steinberg, who had his first kid this week.

Anyone else have crazy pictures of student-section costuming? Post them below or link 'em. We couldn't get any at Notre Dame -- totally our bad, but the cameraphone was unavailable -- but we'll hunt it out at the Big East Tournament.
