Round the world Saturday...Or at least Miami
Just a little update -- as we finished watching the college football All-Star Skills Challenge on ESPN (what, a Colonial Athletic Association college basketball game wasn't available instead?). Notre Dame's Darius Walker participated and finished second in the obstacle course to Auburn's Kenny Irons. Walker had a chance to win, but ran a slow sprint at the end. The junior said he wasn't going at full speed, but sounded out of breath at the end. Greg Olsen, who transferred from Notre Dame to Miami, also participated in the challenge that took place in Miami. The biggest news from Walker's camp, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, is that he hired Drew Rosenhaus to be his agent.
Quarterback Brady Quinn is also making the rounds, having been on the Dan Patrick and Jim Rome shows on Friday along with attending the ESPN party, as reported by Insights friend and Northwest Herald columnist Kevin Kaduk. The Orlando Sentinel blog has more celebrities at the ESPN party -- including Alyssa Milano, Tom Brady, Troy Smith and Quinn.
