Notre Dame senior quarterback Brady Quinn is officially a finalist for the Heisman Trophy along with Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith and Arkansas running back Darren McFadden.
Quinn will also play in the Senior Bowl with wide receiver Jeff Samardzija, left tackle Ryan Harris, wide receiver Rhema McKnight and defensive end Victor Abiamiri. Defensive tackle Derek Landri and left guard Dan Santucci will play in the East-West Shrine Game and right guard Bob Morton will play in the Hula Bowl.
Also, in case you missed it before -- we spoke with former Notre Dame/now LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri earlier this week. He had some interesting things to say about the matchup and said he can't wait for baseball season so he can stop thinking about Notre Dame.
