So here's the plan. We've decided that we're going to play our own little game to calm the masses.
We hear all about the BCS mess -- and we agree. The reasoning behind Florida moving up and Michigan staying where it was is flawed at best and ridiculous at worst. We're hoping change is coming, as is Texas Tech coach Mike Leach. So we are instituting our own change this season using the PlayStation2: a 16-team playoff.
To be fair -- sorry, Central Michigan -- we're going to take the Top 16 teams from the BCS Standings, bracket them in order and use the PS2 to simulate one game per day starting Wednesday, with the results and a brief recap posted around 4 p.m. each day. First round will be at highest seed home sites, followed by sites randomly selected by the PS2 the rest of the way (home games not allowed). Feel free to keep commenting, tell your friends and link us along -- we want to blow this thing out here.
The bracket:
First round:
No. 1 Ohio State vs. No. 16 Rutgers -- Wednesday
No. 8 Boise State vs. No. 9 Auburn -- Thursday
No. 4 LSU vs. No. 13 West Virginia -- Friday
No. 5 USC vs. No. 12 Arkansas -- Saturday
No. 3 Michigan vs. No. 14 Wake Forest -- Sunday
No. 6 Louisville vs. No. 11 Notre Dame -- Monday
No. 7 Wisconsin vs. No. 10 Oklahoma -- Tuesday
No. 2 Florida vs. No. 15 Virginia Tech -- Wednesday, Dec. 13
Quarterfinals:
OSU-Rutgers winner vs. Boise State-Auburn winner -- Thursday, Dec. 14
LSU-WVU winner vs. USC-Arkansas winner -- Friday, Dec. 15
Michigan-Wake winner vs. Louisville-ND winner -- Saturday, Dec. 16
Wisconsin-Oklahoma winner vs. Florida-VT winner -- Sunday, Dec. 17
Enjoy. First game starts Wednesday (or today, depending when you read this).

A lot of college football fans across the country are fed up with the Bowl Championship Series. Most people agree that something need to done, but don't know where to start. I am launching an online campaign to pressure the NCAA to Sack the BCS.
If fans join together, we can pressure the NCAA to finally get rid of the BCS mess. Sign onto our petition here: http://ga4.org/campaign/sackthebcs
With your help, we can get the word out to college football fans about the effort.
