We respect Tim McCarthy, the Indiana State Police trooper who makes the Don't Drink And Drive announcement before the third and fourth quarters of every Notre Dame home game.

But man, McCarthy needs to become a bit more creative these days. To a small groan from the media members in the press box, McCarthy bellowed this week's pun: "Driving half lit is not very bright."
