Remember Chicago? Well, they are playing with the Notre Dame band right now at midfield during halftime. The lead guitarist/singer is wearing a Tom Zbikowski jersey. The most intersting thing is that most Notre Dame students weren't even born when Chicago hit it big and was relevant in the music scene.
Chances are the students would be more into it if Panic! At The Disco or Snow Patrol or Dave Matthews Band showed up to play instead of this band of middle-aged men.
As for the game, Notre Dame is pretty dominant. Zbikowski returned a punt. Quinn has been impressive. Temper the enthusiasm, though, because North Carolina is pretty bad. Plus, the better Tar Heels quarterback, Joe Dailey, has been on the bench for most of the first half because of UNC's quarterback rotation.
It is 31-13 and could be worse. Ouch.
And if you missed it, both freshmen running backs Munir Prince and James Aldridge got in for a play, but didn't touch the ball.

haha agreed about Chicago, but really weren't probably thinking about the students when chicago signed up. there ARE, after all, 70,000+ non-students in the crowd on a given day
