Let's get this out there for some of those who can't quite seem to grasp reality... You can dislike how a player plays and NOT dislike the player himself....!!!! I think Rob Guinn was pursuing one of the most noble professions and I have the utmost respect for anyone in that trade(nursing); but not liking how he played the "game" does not make me less human or an idiot.

Karla Stranger

Well we dont have to worry about Westgarth. Hes been signed by The San Jose Sharks.

Karla Stranger

Randy did retire. He is in Wisconsin.

Give the new guy a break....he'll get it soon. He was corrected then made a retraction.

I still remember when Uwe ("Ooo-Vey") Blab ("blahp") played basketball for Indiana University. Home games were fine, but away game announcers always pronounced it like "Ooo-ey Blob".

What about Mario Joly? Has he signed yet?

Rymsha to flint=headaches for K's/on flint web-site they have a picture of Rashasd Evans=at first thought I thought they signed him.

Hey HitSomebody...forgot to say thanks for the info earlier...helped a lot! And if it comes down to about $50 per week or so for Saidachev, can't we all just throw into an under the table pot so we can lure him back? The IHL would never have to know...just kidding...sorta...:) That could seriously hurt my finances, though...I have a lot of guys I want back, so I'd be blowing my ticket money on salary and never getting to see them play if my little system was in place...this just goes to show ya why I am not in charge of this operation! :)

BTW, hope Woodsy likes the chili down there in Cincy...Skyline chili is THE best in the whole world!!

Shhhh...don't tell "the goalie"...we're gonna go see a Sharks game at Columbus in February!! I'll never hear the end of "are we there yet" if I tell him now!! Also getting tix for a Predators game in November (his 2nd fave team)...yay! Another hockey road trip! I'm excited...is it October yet???

Hey Cat! That sounds like a wonderful surprise for you little goalie! :) Very sweet picture of him that you added to your MySpace page, btw.

And I know what you mean about the money. I always feel the same way. I find it so much easier to spend money on something like that than on myself.

So... I was watching part of "MVP" again last night. I stilll haven't managed to catch an entire episode. Do you ever get to see them doing any actual playing? So far, I haven't even seen them on the ice. Except for the occcasional hockey image, I wouldn't even know what sport they are supposed to play. Oh well.

And I forgot to mention a couple of other reasons why the Zambonis are cool. When I ordered some CDs from them, they charged me quite a bit less for the shipping and handling than the actual postage charge stamped on the outside of the package. You don't see that very often. I take that back. You NEVER see that. And they threw in a six pack of Zambonis stickers, which they sell on their website for $3, absolutely free. It was so refreshing to discover how down-to-earth and generous they were.

Hey cat wayyyyyyyy cool. Your little goalie will love it. I did the same for my daughter for her birthday one year and took her to a Colts game. What even made it better was the fact that it was Monday Night Football AND her actual birth date. We stayed in a motel and came back the next morning. Considering the game got over at 1230 in the morning. She loved it and so will he.

Sat. Nov.8th=FLAMES vs bluejackets.GO-GO IGINLA!!!!

Thanks for the encouragement about the road games..."the goalie" will need to be peeled off the ceiling when I tell him, he'll be so excited! I think I'll wait until the night before we leave...he is a cutie, isn't he Wendy? (my kid, that is...not talking about a player, fyi, we just call him "the goalie"...ask Deuce...he started it). But I might be a little biased...LOL! I would do the Komets birthday party thing for the boy, but his bday is in September...bummer. He would kill for that bday party!

Wendy, not any real hockey action so far on that show...just them suited up so you know what sport they are supposed to be playing, I suppose. Mostly about their dramas off-ice. Oh well, so far so good for me...as long as I know what to expect anyway (the no hockey thing).

Cool that the Zambonis are generous AND hockey lovers as well! A great combination, in my book. They added me as well...yay! When October finally gets here, I'll start putting their songs as my page song sometimes.

I'm so tired of hearing about some rift between Boucher and Reiter. I think it's so blown out of proportion. I, for one, would love to have Reiter back. I have always liked him and truly hope he does come back. As for Henley, if he's not going to play, then I'd love to see him behind the bench as an assistant coach, just as long as he wears his black suit every game!

Is it October yet? Go K's!!!
