Yeah they beat Flint, K-zoo seems to have flints number this year, that and flint is sorta going down hill.

Shawn

That should drop the Komets magic number to 7

There is no Vet that is going to want to sit so he can be ready for the Play-off's...Yes they will use the IR because it saves them money against the CAP so there will more than likely be someone on the IR even if they are not hurt. So while putting a rookie on the IR to keep him a rookie it also saves money against the CAP.

Andrew

And my point? what St. Christoper?

I guess my point was someone asked if they were going to be RBK Edge Jerseys and I know all they us is Athletic Knit jerseys

chuckitt

no vet might want to sit but after 60 games its pretty smart to rest one now and again. signing two amatuers is nothing more than a smart move. get them in and give them a taste of a pro atmosphere. if they are any good then there a great start for next year. if not, then nobody got hurt and maybe some guys get a weell deserved breather. cant see how anybody can be negative about what ammounts to a couple free players.

St.Christopher

Andrew, just thought you had some insight, thats all.

Back to the K-zoo/Flint AM game...they do this almost yearly now and I believe have had two in one year before where they give discounted tickets to schools for their honor roll programs. I think the tickets are $1.00 per student. What a great promotion and a great way to jump start hockey into a younger aged population. FW should do this...nevermind they would lose too much money....not! They would make money in the long run from it.
