Here's what Mario Larocque has to say about signing with the Komets.
On joining the Komets: "All I've heard about the Fort Wayne Komets and the town have been good things. They always have a winning team and hopefully this will be another one."
On his style of play: "I would say I bring a little bit of everything to the game. I'm a physical kind of guy who's really good defensively. I can also bring a lot of offense. I've been around for awhile and hope I can help with the younger guys."
On playing for Pat Bingham again: "I was wishing for him to be the coach there. I really think he's the kind of coach that everyone wants to have. I'm not there to make publicity for him, but I know he's a great coach."

Justin this question might have gotten lost in the past topics...
Have you heard any updates on the working agreement with Bridgeport?

You know, I haven't heard anything recently. Keep reminding me and I'll try to find out. I suspect, though, it may just be Hershey, with perhaps some preferential treatment from Bridgeport.

6' 4" 210?!? I thought he was bigger than 210.
We may have to go a little larger for an enforcer..

At least he hasn't told us that everyone in the UHL..."Elite Professional Hockey League" fears him and are afraid to drop their gloves with him. Someone tell Sebring to hurry up and get a Q & A scheduled with him so that he can "out-do" Jorde.

According to this article http://prohockeynews.com/leagues/article.cfm?Article_ID=114 Bingham admits that coaching hard-hitting yet undisciplined teams is what has gotten him into trouble in the past. Having learned from his mistakes and having already coached Larocque hopefully means that Bingham knows how to have Larocque benefit the kind of team he wants. On the concern of whether or not he puts up dumb penalties, I'm not too concerned yet. A well placed high stick or cross check can put the opposing team's players in their place and off their game.

That actually is one of the best articles/interviews I've seen with Bingham since the Frankes hired him. It does give a lot of insight on how he plans to run his team. I'm not sure I totally agree with everything, but I think he's got a good foundation.

Believe me, I don't know ANYONE who likes to eat wood, unless they are a beaver.
