This league is a joke! Are you kidding me? The team with the best record quits and joins another league before the playoffs begin? Just kind of shows how pathetic of a league this is. Are the guys who run this league this big of idiots? Apparently the answer to this questions is YES! Fort Wayne should be embarrased to be in a league that is operated like this.

Why don't the teams in Muskegon, Rock River, Chicago, Fort Wayne, Kalamazoo and Saginaw just form their own six team like(much like the IHL) and then begin accepting other applicants? Maybe go with 8 teams the first season and build on that.

Between this and reading the article in the Kzoo paper about this league, getting out would be the smartest thing Fahlsing and Chappius could do.

These two guys that run this league appear to be pretty incompetent.

I mean come on, what league has their best team leave before the playoffs begin to join another league mid-season???? Well, at least the CIFL can say YES to that!

Nice job Scott. We have players not being paid, coaches being replaced days before a game, and now teams are starting to fold. It is a joke. Get out now- save your money. I run a business- its not rocket science. I don't know how these guys get where they are at in life with this kind of decision making. Take back your Freedom- what a joke.

"I'd love to see a picture of Williams and Mikey M. in the same place at the same time.. =)

This is coming from the Komet fan who swears he has tried to infuse common sense over here to the Freedom fans. Did that post seem like it? It's the only one I could find.

Jungle Monkey, get a clue. Enjoy your Komets but don't take shots at the Freedom fans. We know it's a mess, but the fans here are as passionate as Komet fans. No need to take unnecessary shots here or on the Komets blog.

1776 - what in the world brought that up? Did I miss something?

Peace out!

He is running his yapper on the Komets board. He mentioned that Freedom fans are short on common sense basically stemming from our frustration over the team's off the field woes. He even mentioned that HE had tried to make us understand common sense but failed.

It's easy to be a Komet fan right now. But when things go bad with that team(the Komets), even in the smallest way, they turn on their team much faster including the king of common sense himself, Jungle Monkey.

I like a few others have no tolerance for Komet fans that have nothing better to do than run down our Freedom. Yes, I'm very frustrated with the Freedom, but I don't have the stomach to read Komet fans running down our team knowing full well that they are one four game losing streak away from completely turning on their team and yelling for someone's head.

That's interesting, because I don't know how a Komet fan would feel so "into the Freedom" to call the former GM by "Mikey M.".

I always thought Jungle Monkey was somebody either in the front office for the Freedom now, or obviously worked for the team last year. How do you know its the same person ?

Atomic

Jungle Monkey is just one of those fans trying to stir things up.

I was reading the article about the Freedom in '09. How many times do we have to live through the same scenerio? 1,000 fans don't pay the bills. Enough said.
